about

"Having been a big fan of the netlabel scene for many years, in 2010 I decided to set up my own - Audio Gourmet. The idea for my netlabel was to share EPs, with a time limit of 15 minutes. This was so that I could listen to a release in full during my tea-break at work, which was fifteen minutes and it was hoped that others would do the same, all over the world.
Naturally, the best way to get the label up and running was to release some work of my own and 'Rust' began the Audio Gourmet journey in May 2010. I was fascinated by decomposition, particularly of objects back then and Rust was a short way in which to express my thoughts on it. Although the EP lasted just 15 minutes, I wanted to try and really stretch out that time frame by composing micro-sound with a lazy feel to the melody."
