about

“In February 2011 I developed a technique with new software that enabled me to mark a change in my sound. The eventual result has a saturated, reverb drenched woozy feel to it and ‘Debris’ was my first experiments with it. At the time, I was mesmerised with its capabilities and how it sounded and was eager to share it with the world. So I took a look through my hard-drive and found some tracks that I was struggling to finish or that just never materialised – Debris, if you will. I ran them through the effects and the result is a noisy chorus guitar sound, like a molten-liquid rendition of the Cocteau Twins.”
